The Lobby Lounge at ritzy InterContinental Hong Kong is a truly feast for the eyes! Few are the places in Hong Kong that provide such a splendorous panoramic view over Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong's skyline.
There is nothing too awe inspiring about the interior décor (but who can pay attention to furniture when you are surrounded with a colossal floor-to-ceiling glass curtain overlooking one of the world's most spectacular cityscapes) but, nonetheless, there are comfy couches and armchairs, and although it's a fairly spacious venue, you get enough privacy...
Their all-day-dining menu features a decent choice of popular favorites, including sandwiches, burgers and their likes, and although the food is nice, the prices are (expectedly) high... The afternoon-tea, on the other hand, is something you may want to consider. It costs HK$ 400 for two (That is the "Intercontinental Afternoon Tea set") but it's really fantastic!
You can also order a cup of coffee or a soft drink if you don't want to eat...
Sunset and evening cocktails are very popular among romantic couples, as well as by people who want to watch the "symphony of Lights" from the comfort of a lobby couch, and there's a live band on some evenings.
Open daily, from morning till late
