Ippei-an Ramen & Bar

Ippei-an is one of those places that may give you a wrong first impression...

At first, you may think it's just another shopping mall chain restaurant with modern look, very little ambience and soulless food... But as soon as you realize what this fantastic restaurant is all about, you won't regret choosing it.

Contemporary look, with clean lines, makes it look like many other modern Japanese restaurants, but the ambience is sufficiently pleasant, the service is good and, most importantly, the food is just delicious, with a wide choice of Ramen favorites that are just as homey and authentic, as if they were prepared by a Japanese grandma...

Alongside the Ramen, there is a decent variety of other Japanese delicacies... From their must-try Gyoza (Japanese dumpling) that are fresh and perfectly golden-brown, to Stewed Pork and Egg, Barbecued Pork and Spring Onion and scrumptious Yakitori (Japanese style satay).

Their signature dish is the Higomonzu Ramen: A flavor-rich pork bone soup, with freshly made noodles and braised pork belly... Some would say this is the best Ramen dish you can find in Hong Kong !

The Hong Kong Card allows you to splurge in the city's best restaurants without having to dig too deep in your pockets...

To complement the lovely meal, there is a good selection of authentic Japanese Sake, traditional beers and shochu (Shōchū is a traditional Japanese liquor, commonly distilled from barley, sweet potatoes, or rice).

Prices are not bad at all: HK$ 100 - 200 per person.
