Grand Café

The Hong Kong Card allows you to splurge in the city's best restaurants without having to dig too deep in your pockets...

Located at the lobby level of the swanky Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, Grand Café offers informal all-day dining in a fairly stylish and pleasant surroundings, and currently boasts what must be one of Hong Kong's best dinner buffets.

Surrounded by colossal floor-to-ceiling windows, through which you can enjoy lovely views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong's cityscape, Grand Café has nice and even somewhat cozy décor that works just fine for a romantic dinner, as well as for a small family gathering or a meeting with friends...

As far as food is concerned, there is a great choice of Asian and international favorites on the menu and they are all surprisingly good...

Currently, however, the big draw is the new dinner buffet, which emphasizes on different Asian cuisines... The spread is fantastic and other than a great variety, the chefs use the best of ingredients, as expected from a Grand Hyatt establishment...

Starters range from Vietnamese rice-paper rolls to Minced pigeon with lettuce in plum sauce, and from a well-stocked seafood bar to a decent choice of fresh Sushi, Sashimi and Maki...

Shark's fin soup, Dim sum, Crispy Suckling Pig, Peking Duck and  Honey Roasted Barbequed Pork are just some of the mains they serve, and the list is long...

At almost HK$ 500 per adult, it is a bit pricier than the average buffet restaurant, but what you get more than makes up for the price!

Buffet dinner is served daily, 6:30 to 10pm (the restaurant also serves buffet breakfast and a-la-carte lunch, that are both very good)

Lobby level, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, 1 Harbour Road, Wanchai (adjacent to Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre / HKCEC)
