Forlino

Visiting Singapore ?
Guided day trips are a very nice way to explore this unique and beautiful city...

This world-class restaurant serves the crème de la crème of Italian food, with an emphasis on northern Italian cuisine, in an über-elegant surroundings...

Perched on the second floor of One Fullerton Building, a stone's throw from the Merlion, Forlino features an opulent and swanky interior, which makes you want to dine there, no matter what is on the menu... Huge windows provide panoramic views over Marina Bay and the Esplanade, and the ambience is really tranquil and romantic...

Headed by Chef Giuliano Dacasto, the kitchen uses top-quality Italian ingredients that are flown in directly from "the boot-shaped country", and the results speak for themselves...

Recommended starters include  Gorgonzola cheese-cake with goose liver and pear sauceWagyu beef carpaccio with wild mushrooms and blueberries  and  Pan-seared goose liver with amaretto and pumpkin cream...  Among the mains, there are  Half-moon smoked Ricotta Ravioli with Spinach cream and sweet pepper,  Parsley tagliolini with clams and sundried tomatoes, Tagliatelle with duck-confit and goose-liver,  and  Wagyu beef cheek braised with Marsala wine and herb mashed potatoes...

Quite expectedly, their desserts are simply adorable... Molten lava chocolate cake with banana gelato and rum sauce  and  Raspberry tart with sabayon sauce, to name just a few...

Complement the fabulous dinner with some good Italian wine or grappa, and you are as happy as one can be...

Prices are somewhat high, but the dining experience justifies them:

Set lunch is a good value for money at SG$ 38, while a-la-carte dinner can easily be somewhere around SG$ 75 - 125
