Parrot is a common name for a large group of birds. There are, actually, almost 400 different parrot species in the world, most of which live in the tropical areas of Australia, Southeast Asia, African and South America, and although they are quite different from each other in size, they share many common characteristics: Most of them are vividly colored, with curved bill, strong legs and clawed feet, and make boisterous voice for which they are well known.
