Question No. 10: Why do zebras like to graze near giraffes?

Giraffes in a national park in Africa

The giraffe's unusual height allows it to see far ahead and spot predators from a distance. This is why quite a few animals, like zebras and antelopes, like to graze next to giraffes, so they can also know when danger is coming, well in advance.

Did you know? The Giraffe is the tallest animal in the world. It can reach a height of almost 6 meters (20 ft).
