Wanya specializes mostly in Teppanyaki and Sukiyaki dishes and offers quite a good selection of them.
Teppanyaki is a type of Japanese cooking style that uses an iron-griddle to cook food (The word "teppanyaki" is derived from teppan, which means iron plate, and yaki, which means grilled), while the term Sukiyaki refers to a series of Japanese dishes that consists of meat, vegetables and other ingredients, slowly cooked or simmered in a shallow iron pot (Wok) in a mixture of soy sauce, sugar and spices.
Prices are quite reasonable with lunch at around HK$ 150 and dinner at around HK$ 150-300
Open from Monday to Friday, for lunch (11:30am-2pm) and dinner (6-10:30pm). On Saturday & public holidays: lunch is served between 12 noon and 3 pm, and dinner from 6 to 10:30 pm
