Located at the luxurious Carlton, this splendid restaurant serves some of the best Hong Kong influenced Cantonese cuisine in Singapore, in pleasant and sumptuous surroundings.
Lavishly decked out with lush carpets, heavy furniture and fine Chinese motifs. Ambience is tranquil and fairly relaxed - Not deadly quiet but not noisy either, and the menu presents a good choice of Cantonese delicacies, with strong emphasize on Hong Kong style seafood...
As expected, their dim-sums are simply fantastic... Especially the Deep Fried Yam balls, the Steamed prawns/bbq pork ”Cheong Fen” , the Steamed BBQ Pork Bun and, above all, the “Har Gow” (Steamed prawn dumplings). Other recommended dishes include Spring roll with deep fried lotus root, Fried tofu with braised spinach, Stir fried squid with onion and capsicum, Sea perch with crispy garlic and Roast duck.
Prices are slightly high, but again, it is a high-end hotel restaurant: Set-menu-dinner starts at around SG$ 50 per person
