Hor Fun is a type of wide Chinese rice noodles that are very popular around this part of the world.
Ipoh style Hor Fun (done in the style of the city of Ipoh, in northwest Malaysia) is particularly delicious, and this small food-stall is one of the best places in Singapore to try it, with loads of crayfish and prawns (and even if the queue is long, the food is well worth waiting for...)
Prices are very moderate: SG$ 6 per portion (SG$ 7.5 for the large size).
Open only for a few hours a day (11 - 3)
#02-41 Market and Food Centre at Block 531A, Upper Cross Street, Chinatown (near Chinatown point)
