Located on Hollywood Road, just a few steps from the famous Man Mo Temple, the Press Room is a modern interpretation for the classic French Brasserie.... Warm and homey on one hand, modern and stylish on the other hand... The owners philosophy is "to serve simple food made from the finest ingredients, served in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere..." and the results are, indeed, very pleasing.
The menu is contemporary-European, and consists mainly of familiar favorites which have been given a "modern twist"... Caesar Salad, Baby Spinach and Stilton with vine tomatoes & red wine vinaigrette, Foie Gras with Truffle Salad and Homemade Pate are among the recommended starters, while Truffle & Wild Mushroom Taglietele, Veal Escalope Milanese, Roast Salmon and the fantastic Wagyu Burger are among our recommended mains...
As expected, there is a good choice of lip smacking desserts and an impressive wine list, to complement the wonderful dining experience.
Prices are not too high for this standard: You can go for their MENU AT 280 option which is like a dinner-set-menu that makes a fairly good value or money... Lunch set-menu is also a pretty good bang for the buck.
The Hong Kong Card allows you to splurge in the city's best restaurants without having to dig too deep in your pockets...
