Located in vivacious Clarke Quay, right on the bank of the Singapore River, this lovely resto-bar serves a great variety of delicious tapas and other Spanish fare, in an ultra-pleasant environment.
Tapas-tree is a true 'alfresco' venue, which means that even its indoor Lounge-Bar and Garden-Room boast an "open concept". The Riverside-Veranda is, naturally, the right place to be, as long as the weather is not too harsh. The lounge-bar is nicely decked out in a rustic Spanish style, with terracotta floor, old ceiling fans and Mediterranean rattan couches, and the stylish Garden-Room is also very "Spanish"...
As its name suggests, Tapas-Tree specializes in Spanish tapas and the comprehensive menu lists more than 70 of them... From cold tapas like Marinated olives with garlic or Smoked salmon with capers, olives and lemon to warm tapas like Baked king prawns in a creamy garlic & cheese sauce or Sautéed potatoes with Spanish sausage.
Other than tapas, you can also try their fabulous Paellas.
The bar is properly stocked with whatever you can think of... From Sangaria and wines to beers, liquors, softies and what not, and there are live performances (Spanish, obviously) that keep the ambience alive...
Prices are not too high: A paella dish for two is around SG$ 30-40, while tapas go for around SG$ 5 - 20 per plate... (it really depends on what you order)
Open daily, from 11:30 am to around 12 midnight (1am on weekends and holidays).

There is a recently-opened branch of The Tapas Tree in One Fullerton (Near the famous Merlion statue and the mouth of the Singapore River), which is really nice... With a huge 'alfresco' wooden deck.
