The Original Katong Spoon Laksa

This small eateries-chain has been selling some of the best Katong Laksa in Singapore for more than 50 years now.

This delicious rich soup of rice noodles in a coconut curry gravy, with shrimp, egg and chicken (and cockles sometimes) is one of Singapore's most popular dishes.       The Katong Laksa comprises of relatively short noodles, so it is eaten with a spoon and not with chopsticks.
