There is nothing too special about the interior décor or the ambience of this humble restaurant, and it's probably not where you'll surprise your date with a romantic candlelit dinner... but the food is delicious and homey, the menu is diversified, and the prices are good... and that is all that matters.

Swaadhisht specializes in South Indian cuisine from the coastal state of Kerala. The long menu is full with names of spicy and flavorful dishes, which makes it hard to decide what to go for... from Pakoras, Fish fingers and Fried prawns to Malabar-style briyani sets and Vegetarian selections, and from Mutton in coconut to Chicken sambal and Goat meat briyani...

Prices are fairly moderate: around SG$ 20 for a decent meal
