Occupying a fairly modern glass-clad building, The Elizabeth looks just like many other contemporary-western hotels, and although there is nothing too awe-inspiring about its décor or architecture, it's a very pleasant hotel with great location, lush green surroundings, good facilities and some very helpful staff.

Guestrooms are reasonably spacious and beautifully decked out in a classic-contemporary style, with soft hues of beige, and semi-dark wood furniture that add a touch of elegance... They are properly equipped with most of the amenities you would expect to find in such a hotel, like Broadband internet access, Coffee/tea making facilities, large TV with international channels, mini bar, electronic safe and so on...

On the facilities side: There is a lovely freeform pool, surrounded by a nice tropical garden (which is quite refreshing for a city-centre hotel) and a small open-air gym (near the pool). Guests who feel too lazy to walk to Orchard Road can have a beer and watch sport in the British pub, or eat in the popular Italian restaurant... The lobby lounge is also a good place to chill out and have a drink, while admiring the rainforest garden and the manmade waterfalls, through the floor-to-ceiling glass panels.
