Etna Restaurant & Pizzeria is a cosy and elegant restaurant (not too formal though...), that serves a decent choice of superb pizzas and pasta dishes, as well as Sicilian specialties... Modesto's is a small chain of only three restaurants, specializing in Wood-fired pizza and other Italian fare, and while all their outlets are good, the one at The Elizabeth Hotel, a couple of minutes walk from Orchard Road, seems to be somewhat better and more pleasant than the others, with a large 'alfresco' area, surrounded by greenery...

Zambuca is a modish and elegant restaurant specializing in classic Italian food with modern innovations.  Located within the swanky Pan-Pacific Hotel, in Marina Bay, it belongs to the Michelangelo group.

  

Pontini serves fabulous classic Italian food in elegant and soothing surroundings and at relatively sane prices... Housed within the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, opposite Robertson Quay, it focuses on oven-baked pizzas and pasta dishes, although the menu has much more to offer.
