Hai Tien Lo is perched on the 37th floor of the ritzy Pan-Pacific Hotel and provides an unforgettable dining experience, combining superb Chinese cuisine and breathtaking views of the Colonial District an the Singapore River... It makes a very good choice for a romantic dinner or for those who want to celebrate a special occasion.

Dim-sum & Cantonese brunch at Cherry Garden : The weekend brunch-buffet at Mandarin Oriental's Cherry Garden restaurant is probably one of the best places in Singapore to indulge on dim-sum and dumplings.  Their Kurobuta pork dishes are also well worth knowing about

Majestic Restaurant is nestled within the colonial-era building of New Majestic hotel, on Chinatown's Bukit Pasoh, and serves modern Cantonese cuisine in an elegant-contemporary ambience.  Some of the dishes are quite innovative (even adventurous), but are fabulous all the same.

Si Chuan Dou Hua serves traditional Sichuan food in style.

They have two outlets: The first one is located in Park Royal Hotel and is famous for its authentic teahouse, while the second is perched on the 60th floor of UOB Plaza (just above the Singapore River) and is famed for its breathtaking views...

Hua Ting in Orchard Hotel serves some of the best Cantonese food in Singapore in an elegant and classy environment, and is particularly known for its dim-sum and dumplings.

My Humble House: Do not let the unpretentious name confuse you... There is nothing "humble" bout this chic and modish restaurant, where contemporary Chinese cuisine is served in style.

The food is innovative and fabulous, but the ambience here plays just as important role.

Peach Garden is nestled on the 33rd floor of OCBC Centre, just above the mouth of the Singapore River and the famous Merlion, which means you can enjoy fabulous views of the Colonial District and Marina while indulging on delicious Cantonese food.

The two lady restaurateurs behind Peach Garden give a slight modern touch to the authentic Cantonese recipes, and the results are truly good.
