Named after the exotic Persian city, that has become known for its manicured gardens and its artistic carpets and silverware, this lavish Clarke Quay restaurant serves the best of Iranian cuisine in a flamboyant "one thousand and one night" surroundings...

 

Beautifully designed in a Persian-Shah-palace style, with oriental arches, delicate artistic ornaments and dim lights that help to create a soothing and somewhat romantic ambience... you can seat on a comfy sofa in one of the "more intimate" alcoves, or you can dine 'alfresco' if the weather is reasonably nice and cool...

 

The food is simply fantastic, with strong emphasize on authentic, succulent, top-quality charcoal-grilled Kebabs... and the comprehensive menu features a decent choice of them, alongside some fabulous traditional stews (like the famous Khoresht-e-Bamieh, consisting of lamb meat and lady-fingers in a tomato based stew), Basmati rice dishes, Mezze (Middle Eastern dips and salads) and lovely desserts.

 

Prices are slightly high for a Middle Eastern restaurant, but the dinning experience is superb... around SG$ 40 - 60 for a full a-la-carte dinner
