The "original" hostel is tucked in a block along small Banda Street, on the border between Chinatown and Tanjong Pagar, which means you are only a short walk from many attractions and places-of-interest, as well as from the MRT station and that, on its own, is a good reason to stay here…
Rooms are slightly crammed, as you can expect from a backpackers' hostel in this part of town, as are the toilets and the showers, but they are nonetheless clean, pleasant and properly air-conditioned. The staff, as already mentioned, are friendly and helpful and the hostel pumpers its guests with all sorts of small "treats" like breakfast, nice communal area with library and movies, free internet connection, laundry machine and dryer and so on…
