Restaurante Litoral

Located along Rua do Almirante Sergio, a short walking distance from the Maritime Museum and A-Ma Temple, this excellent restaurant serves some fantastic Portuguese and Macanese specialties in a lovely environment.

The rustic, colonial-Portuguese style interior is very nice, with dark wood ceiling and soft lights, and the ambience is pleasant.

The owners of Litoral are very proud of their old, authentic recipes which have been kept in the family for generations... They also prepare most of the ingredients in-house and the results are superb... Curry shrimps, Stuffed Tiger Prawns, Baked crab, Bacalhau with potatoes and garlic, Arroz de Marisco (Portuguese seafood rice), Stewed duck with herbs, Baked duck rice, African chicken, Feijoada (beans and meat stew), Caldo Verde, Chouriço assado (char-grilled Portuguese chorizo), Minchi and what not... everything is delicious.

Add to this a decent choice of wines (mostly Portuguese, as expected), friendly service and reasonable prices and you've got one of Macau's best dinning experiences.

Prices are fairly reasonable: dinner is around MOP$ 200-300 (excluding wine and alcohol)

Open for lunch and dinner (reservations are recommended)
