Named after Disney's legendary baby elephant, this popular restaurant is another Macau institution, known for its large portions of delicious food and reasonable prices.
It's a fairly large and busy restaurant so you can't expect much in the way of a romantic atmosphere, but the food is excellent and so is the ambience... works particularly well for a large dinner with family or friends.
Recommended dishes include: Curry crabs, Spicy prawns with garlic, Steamed (or grilled) codfish, Grilled eel, Roasted quail, Portuguese style steaks and pork-chops, Braised pig neck and Stewed ox - tail with red wine.
Desserts are also worth leaving room for... Serradura ("sawdust" pudding) is a popular Macanese dessert, consisting of whipped cream and biscuit-crumbs. Their Egg tart is quite good too.
Prices are very reasonable, especially when considering the size of the portions: dinner is around MOP$ 100-200 (excluding wine and alcohol)
