Praised as the best Ramen restaurant in Singapore by one of the city's leading food bloggers, Ramen Santouka in "The Central", right opposite Clarke Quay, certainly treats the famous Japanese noodle dish with all the respect it deserves and prepares the best of it, with superior stock that has cooked for a long, long time…
The somewhat spicy Kara-Miso Ramen seems to be the eatery's most popular dish, although the Pork Cheek Ramen makes a very good choice too, and while it is slightly spicier than some of the other items on the menu, the melt-in-your-mouth slices of juicy pork cheek more than make up for the slight difference in price.
Prices are quite fair for this quality: A bowl of Ramen is around SG$ 15 - 20
Open daily, 11am - 9:30 pm (try not to come bang during lunch time, unless you really want to join the queue)
