R66 (Revolving restaurant / buffet)

The restaurant is udergoing renovations and will re-open towards the end of 2011

Visiting Hong Kong ?
Guided day tours are a very nice way to explore this unique and beautiful metropolis...

As far as breathtaking views are concerned, Hong Kong's only revolving restaurant definitely lives up to the expectations...

Perched on the 62nd floor of Wanchai's Hopewell Centre, R66 features a simple, modern design that is not sensational or atmospheric in any way, but sufficiently pleasant... The restaurant completes one full round every 66 minutes, and that is how R66 got its name...

The buffet spread is fairly extensive, and while the food is generally good, there's nothing explosive about it... Just another buffet restaurant, serving ordinary Chinese and continental dishes...

All in all, it's a nice dining experience, so long as your culinary expectations are not sky high, and you don't mind queuing for the buffet with coach-loads of tourists (although that is not always the case...).

Prices are reasonable: Around HK$ 300 per person for dinner, HK$ 150 for high-tea, and HK$ 100 for lunch-buffet (Kids pay less / weekend rates are slightly higher).

Open daily for lunch and dinner (12 noon - midnight, and even later on weekends)

62/F Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen's Road East, Wanchai (Just a short walk from MTR Wanchai, through Spring Garden Lane)
