Located on trendy Robertson Walk, Queen's Tandoor serves the best of North Indian cuisine in pleasant surroundings. There is a fairly large 'alfresco' seating area facing the courtyard fountain, which is the right place to be if the weather is right...
The kitchen produces fabulous North Indian delicacies that are piquant on one hand, but not too spicy on the other... As expected, tandoor specialties are leading the list, with a wide selection of dishes to choose from... Chicken Tikka, Reshmi Kebab, Chicken Malai Kebab, Roasted lamb specialties, Tiger Prawns in different styles, Paneer Tikka (Indian 'cheese kebab') and so on... The Curry section does not disappoint either... Chicken Makhanwala (cooked in a rich butter sauce), Chicken Jalfrazi (cooked in Saffron sauce with tomato and onion) and Prawn Curry... just to name a few...
Their Fresh-baked Nan and Saffron Rice are simply hands down fantastic.
The service is also good and friendly and, all in all, dining here is truly enjoyable.
Prices are not too bad for a Robertson Walk venue, and they do have all sorts of promotions, every now and again. They also have a lunch buffet at a good price, which is worth trying...
