Strategically located within the exclusive Fairmont Hotel, on the corner of busy Bras Basah and Beach Roads, this popular restaurant is famous for its fabulous Italian fare, as much as for its people watching...

Beautifully decked-out in a modern-elegant style, with plenty of marble and semi-dark wood furnishings... you can catch a seat on the marble-topped bar or next to the super-large windows, through which you can see how life on Bras Basah unfolds in front of you... the ambience is fairly pleasant (although it can be just a little bit too cheerful for those of you who are looking for the perfect romantic escape...), service is good and the extensive menu features a wide selection of scrumptious Italian stuff... both wood-fire-pizzas and real restaurant fare... different people with different budgets (and different tastes) will all find something to enjoy...

Recommended dishes include: Roasted rack of lamb,  Linguine Pescatore (with lots of fresh seafood),  Spaghetti alla Carbonara,  Potato Gnocchi with duck ragout and goose liver,  Pizza frutti-di-mare  and, of course... The lovely Tiramisu.

Prices: not too bad for a top-class hotel restaurant... around SG$ 50-60 for a full a-la-carte dinner.

Open daily for lunch and dinner (Sunday branch: 12noon - 2:30 pm)
