The hostel with the slightly odd name occupies a nice, historic shophouse in the heart of Chinatown, and although it has opened only a few years ago, it has already managed to become one of Singapore's most popular backpacker joints.
Accommodation here is in mixed 10-bed dorms, although there are also "private" rooms with only four beds, as well as" girls only" dormitories. Rooms are expectedly small but are all the same clean and comfortable. Showers and lavatories are spanking clean (and have hair driers…) and the staff are trying to make guests feel at home.
The hostel's nicely maintained "communal area" is at the attic, and features a decent range of treats, like a comfy sofa, Massage armchair, large LCD screen with a good variety of movies, plenty of books and magazines, free use of laptops (including internet connection) and what have you…
Other facilities of the hostel include: Breakfast (Quite basic, although not bad), bedside reading lamp, private locker, luggage storage, 24 hours reception and laundry facilities.
