This highly awarded restaurant started its way on Singapore's East-Coast, back in the 1950s... Much water has flowed under the bridge since then, and today it occupies one of Singapore's most prime locations, right next to the Merlion, facing the mouth of the Singapore River and "the Durian".
Nicely set-up, with large 'alfresco' area and elegantly arranged tables under wedding-style white tents... Ambience is pleasant and relaxed, service is very good and the comprehensive (and frequently changing) menu features a wide selection of fresh seafood delicacies, as well as some other Southeast-Asian favorites...
Like every Singaporean seafood restaurant that respects itself, Chili crab and Black pepper crab are excellent... but you can allow yourself to be adventurous and try some other staff ... everything is good.
Prices are slightly high but the dinning experience (and the location) is very special: around SG$ 60 - 90
Open daily for lunch and dinner
