After being around for more than three decades, Pak Loh has long made a name for itself as one of Hong Kong's best Chiu Chow restaurants.
As the case is in many Chinese restaurants, the interior décor does not play a major role (although the place is sufficiently pleasant), and so, good food is the main draw...
While the menu features all sorts of "flamboyant options" like abalone, shark's fin and bird's nest, the most recommended dishes are actually the less exorbitant ones, like the Goose, Minced pigeon, Sweet and sour pan-fried noodles and Fried oysters with omelets, just to name a few... Their claypot soups are also highly recommended.
Service is quite efficient and friendly, and the staff will be more than happy to assist you with an advice
Prices are not bad for this class of restaurant: Around HK$ 150 -200 per person for a nice a-la-carte meal.
