Otto Ristorante

.

.

Located within the beautifully restored building of the Red Dot Design Museum, highly praised Otto Ristorante serves superb Italian cuisine with a slight modern touch in a neat and stylish environment.

The restaurant's classic-contemporary décor is very elegant, with clean lines, light hues of white and cream, and black-backed chairs that beautifully contrast the crisp white tablecloths... Outside, there is a lovely 'alfresco bar', where you can have your Aperitif or Digestif, surrounded by tropical plants...

Following the overall classic-modern theme of the restaurant, the kitchen specializes in semi-contemporary Italian cuisine, taking traditional dishes and giving them a slight twist... The chefs use prime quality ingredients that are flown to the restaurant directly from Italy, in order to achieve the best results possible, and the food, indeed, is fantastic...

Prices are slightly high, but certainly reasonable for such a fabulous dining experience: A set-lunch of starter (or soup), main, dessert and coffee or tea is about SG$ 40, while a-la-carte dinner ranges from SG$ 60 to 100.  For a real splurge, try their Degustation Menu at SG$ 90, or their sensational Gourmet-set-menu at around SG$ 130.
