Located at the sumptuous Four Seasons, one of Singapore's best and most prestigious hotels, the One-Ninety is an elegant restaurant with plenty of warm wood and a pleasant-relaxed atmosphere.
Other than its highly praised Sunday brunch, the restaurant serves some fabulous European and Asian modern cuisine in an exceptionally pleasant ambience.
The menus consist of a nicely-balanced mix between Southeast Asian and European cuisines... Lunch time favorites include: Grilled Portobello mushroom with endive, arugula and soy dressing, Grilled tuna and vegetables Niçoise on Provençal bread, Premium Australian gourmet-beef- burger with foie gras and slices of Black winter truffle and Duck leg confit with caramelized orange, spiced crusty foie-gras and Grand marnier sauce, as well as some Singaporean and Southeast Asian delicacies, like Char Kway Teow (stir-fried flat rice noodles with seafood, cockles and Chinese sausage), Indian style chicken curry, served with steamed rice, Pappadum and Raita, Hainanese chicken rice and the restaurant's special Laksa...
Dinner menu is 'a bit more serious'... with delicacies like Wild mushroom truffled Risotto balls with blue cheese dip, Baby spinach salad with pinenut truffle vinaigrette, pancetta, goat cheese and crispy apple chips, and a good selection of wood-fire grilled dishes, both fish and meat.
As expected, there are some gorgeous desserts to complement the meal with, as well as an impressive wine-list.
Prices are slightly high (it is the Four Seasons... after all) but the dinning experience is superb.
