Owned by a Portuguese man (Manuel) and his cheerful Chinese wife, this tiny restaurant serves fantastic Portuguese food in a lovely environment...
As the case may be in many of Macau's traditional Portuguese eateries, the décor is not too fancy, but nice and homey, and the ambience is nice...
Food is great, both in terms of taste and portion size... O'Manuel has a reputation for being one of Macau's best places to eat Grilled Bacalhau and Grilled sardines.
Other recommended dishes include the grilled seafood (prawns and squid, in particular) and Portuguese style steaks.
For dessert, you should try Manuel's famous Baked apple.
Prices are quite moderate: around MOP$ 100 - 200 per person
Open daily for lunch and dinner (closed on 1st and 4th Tuesday of each month) - reservations are highly recommended.
