This extremely popular culinary institution got its rather weird name many years ago, when it started as a small food stall with no sign... Plenty of water passed under the bridge since then and today, with five successful outlets, it is one of the best places in Singapore to indulge on Chinese and Asian seafood dishes.
Their restaurant in the Esplanade theatres complex is probably, the nicest and most elegant... although the other outlets are also very pleasant.
The restaurant's "flagships" include the Chili crab, White pepper crab, Deep fried crayfish with crispy cereal coat, Hokkien style steamed fish, Superior braised abalone with mushrooms and broccoli in thick black sauce, Prawn rolls and Deep fried baby squid with sweet & sour sauce, just to name a few...
As you might imagine, weekends can be seriously busy.
Prices are quite reasonable: around SG$ 35 - 50 for a decent seafood feast
