Visiting Singapore ?
Guided day trips are a very nice way to explore this unique and beautiful city...

This popular culinary institution got its rather weird name many years ago, when it started as a small food stall with no sign... Plenty of water passed under the bridge since then and today, with five successful outlets, it is one of the best places in Singapore to indulge on Chinese and Asian seafood dishes.

Their restaurant in the Esplanade Theatres Complex is probably, the nicest and most elegant, although the other outlets are also very pleasant.

The restaurant's "flagships" include Chili CrabWhite Pepper CrabDeep fried crayfish with crispy cereal coatHokkien style steamed fishSuperior braised abalone with mushrooms and broccoli in thick black saucePrawn rolls and  Deep fried baby squid with sweet & sour sauce,  just to name a few...

As you might imagine, weekends can be seriously busy.

Prices are quite reasonable: around SG$ 35 - 50 for a decent seafood feast.

The restaurant at East Coast Seafood Centre (1202 East Coast Parkway) is open daily, 3 pm - 12 midnight,  Phone: 6448 9959
