This relatively small restaurant has nothing too flamboyant or pretentious about it... It's just a clean and nicely decked out eating house with a friendly ambience and some fantastic Italian food at a reasonable price...
As its name denotes, Pizzas and calzone are the main draw here... for those of you who dare not to know, Calzone is a 'stuffed' or 'folded' pizza (the pizza base is prepared together with all the toppings and then folded, creating a half-moon-shaped turnover). Other than scrumptious pizzas and calzone, there are some lovely pasta dishes here and other simple Italian fare...
Starters include various Bruschettas (open toasts), Baked mussels in shredded mozzarella and garlic, soups and salads, among others...
The wide selection of Pizzas and calzone comprises of more than twenty different types... Mozzarella, mushroom and salami, Mozzarella and Pepperoni, Mixed seafood, "Four seasons" , Napolitana (with anchovies, capers and olives), with Black-truffle, with Smoked salmon and spinach and what not...
The pasta dish selection is also impressive... with almost 20 types of pasta, risotto and lasagna, and the desserts section is certainly worth waiting for, with Tiramisu, cheesecakes, Gelato, Sherbets and what have you...
