Describing Miss Clarity Café as a bistro might be a bit confusing, as this small, cute place looks more like something in between a teenage girl's dream room and a kindergarten, with vivid colors and childish cartoons on the walls.
The food, however, is good and although it's not exactly French haute-cuisine, it's quite tasty and makes good value for money. The ambience is vivacious and pleasant and makes you feel young...
The menu is very extensive and features a wide selection of pastas, risotto dishes, sandwiches and salads, as well as some 'more serious dishes'.... Good selection of escargot, oysters, scallops and NZ mussels are dominating the starters section. Recommended mains include Pan-Seared Dory Fillet, Chicken Ballotine (chicken thigh stuffed with mushrooms), Seafood Vongole, Bangers & Mash, Home-style beef stew in puff pastry bowl and, of course, the fabulous Australian wagyu steak (the most expensive item on the menu). The desserts section is also worth looking at.
Prices are very affordable (as long as you don't order the Wagyu...) : Full a-la-carte meal is likely to cost around SG$ 15 - 25, while set-lunch should not be more than SG$ 10 - 15
