Although American in style (and name), the extremely popular Manhattan Fish Market (MFM) is actually the Singaporean outlet of a successful Malaysian restaurant chain.
Generous portions of luscious American-style seafood at affordable prices is what has put this restaurant on the map... From scrumptious starters like Poached mussels in garlic butter sauce, Sizzling Louisiana prawns and Crispy deep-fried shrimps to their legendary Fish & Chips and the gigantic seafood platters, for which this chain is known (The flambé-platter for two is highly recommended, with deep-fried fish fillet, calamari, oysters and prawns, served with loads of chips and garlic rice)
The restaurant is nicely decked out with sea-related paraphernalia, service is quite good and attentive (even though the place is usually busy) and ambience is lively...
Prices are quite moderate: SG$ 25 - 40 for a decent dinner
Open daily for lunch and dinner
