Mandarin Oriental Macau

Perfectly positioned within the glitzy "One Central" complex - One of Macau's newest and most spectacular projects, this modern and stylish hotel enjoys fabulous panoramic views of Taipa Island, Macau Tower, the Cybernetic Fountain and even the city centre.

There are 213 rooms at the Mandarin Oriental, including 27 suites, and they are all fairly spacious, at a size of 40-45 m2 and above (not to mention the suites, which start from 80m2).

Guestrooms are decked in light and airy shades of white, cream and beige, with some semi dark wood fittings, in a style that combines western modernism and oriental touches, and as expected from such a luxurious hotel, they are all fitted with superb amenities, including a 42- inch LCD TV, High speed Internet access (both wired and wireless), Internet on TV, comfy beds with luxury white goose down and feather pillows and duvets, and even a Nespresso coffee machine… The marbled bathroom comes with large bathtub, separate glass-enclosed shower, separate WC and a 19-inch LCD TV…

In terms of recreational facilities, the two main draws of Mandarin Oriental Macau are its 25 metre infinity pool, which is heated during the chilly winter days and provides stunning views towards the harbor and Taipa, and its world class spa, where you can enjoy a range of treatments, featuring both traditional and contemporary techniques.

Location wise, the Mandarin Oriental is within a short stroll from Casino Lisboa, Wynn Macau and the Wine and Dine precinct of "Docas", which is also known as Macau's Lan Kwai Fong… The hotel is also directly connected to one of Macau's best shopping mall, which means the city's hippest boutiques are just a step away.

What's more, the service here is simply impeccable, with staff that speaks perfectly good English and tries to look after every wish the guests might have.

Prices are not particularly low, but the hotel does give good value for money… At the time of writing, a Deluxe Corner View Room starts at approximately MOP$ 2,000 per room per night, which is not bad for what you get.
