Almost 'hiding' in a beautifully restored shophouse, this small and lovely bistro is like a slice of Germany in Singapore, serving authentic German fare, as well as a whole range of imported wines and deli-foods (at the adjacent Delicatessen).


Décor is modern and stylish yet pleasant, and ambience is fairly cozy and relaxed... the extensive menu features a nice selection of genuine German delicacies like Flammkuchen (the famous German style pizza, covered with a base of sour cream and all sorts of combinations, like fresh spinach & cheese, smoked salmon & leek and smoked pork loin with garlic and sauerkraut), German Sausages of all kinds and shapes, crispy and juicy pork knuckle in different styles and more 'sophisticated' dishes like the succulent Tenderloin steak in cherry-beer sauce with "Duchesse" potatoes.  As expected from a decent German food-house, desserts and cakes are certainly worth considering...


The impressive wine list is dominated (naturally) by German white wines, like Riesling and Gewürztraminer.

Prices are quite reasonable : SG$ 25 - 45
