It's not sure whether dogs are likely to make you luckier than manmade slot machines and Baccarat tables, but if you want to give it a shot, or just want to experience something different, Asia's only greyhound racing stadium is at your service.
Located on Avenida General Castelo Branco, right next to Mong-Há Hill, Macau's Canidrome (Yat Yuen) was built sometimes in the 1930s, and although the city is now packed with casinos of any size and style, this good old institution is still popular among locals and visitors, who come here to see how the dogs swallow the track at a speed of 60 Kph.

Greyhound races are held on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and weekends, starting from 7:45 pm, and there are 16 games on every racing evenings.
Admission is MOP$10 (usable for betting) for the public stand. Boxes are MOP$80 (Monday to Thursday) and MOP$120 (Friday to Sunday and Public Holidays) with a minimum charge of MOP$30 per person. Bar, snack-bars and restaurant facilities are available.
Players can bet inside the greyhound racing centre, or in off-course betting centres located in Hotel Lisboa, Jai-Alai Palace and Kam Pek Casino.
