Visiting Singapore ?
Guided day trips are a very nice way to explore this unique and beautiful city...
Despite of its very French name (meaning "my home") this homey indeed restaurant specializes in westernized Japanese cuisine, with a bit of a French touch...
Located on the 3rd floor of the Central mall, adjacent to MRT-Clarke Quay, the ambience here is pleasant and cozy... Richly decorated tablecloths, stained glass table-lamps and dim lights create a somewhat romantic feeling... Get a seat next to the windows, so you can enjoy some really lovely views of Clarke Quay and the Singapore River.
The menu features a decent selection of both Japanese and western fare: The Tonkatsu set (Japanese version of Schnitzel, or Escalope) is generous in size and delicious... quite recommended. Other recommended delicacies include the Paella (with plenty of seafood), the Omu rice (a modern Japanese dish, consisting of omelet made with fried rice and sauces), Soba Salad, Hamburger Steak and the Ma Maison special beef stew.
Desserts are not disappointing either
Prices are fairly reasonable: SG$ 20 - 30
