Recently relocated to the prestigious Mandarin Gallery, right in the middle of Orchard Road, Lawry's has long earned its place as one of Singapore's finest grill-houses, serving the crème de la crème of beef and lamb in a luxurious environment that has nothing much in common with the bustling street outside.

Polished wood parquet, crisp-white tablecloths, high ceiling with chandeliers and large windows through which you can enjoy ciyscape views... all contribute their share to the romantic and tranquil atmosphere.

The menu is quite limited and emphasizes mainly on USA Prime Ribs and beef cut selections, but although ribs are the main thing here, there are a few other delicacies worth knowing about, like the Stir fried roast beef sandwich and the Crispy lamb shank.

As expected, there is a good choice of international wines and liquors to complement the dining experience.

Prices are relatively high: A-la-carte dinner ranges around SG$ 100, while set lunch is a very good value at around SG$ 40-60
