This well established restaurant draws clients from far and wide, who come especially for its signature specialties: Fishhead noodles, Prawn paste fried chicken, Deep fried pork ribs, Fried Hor Fun noodles with fish and Stir fried slices of fish fillet with vegetables.
Fish-head noodles, which has been the restaurant's "jewel in the crown" since it opened its doors, back in the 1940s, is an authentic fish head soup, with thick rice noodles (beehoon), that is carefully cooked till it is thick and creamy.
Otherwise, it is a pleasant place, although there is nothing awe inspiring about the décor or the atmosphere... just a nice and unpretentious restaurant with good, authentic food...
