Located at the glitzy MGM, the restaurant is beautifully decked out with classic Chinese reliefs on the pillars and polished wood parquet, which is finely contrasted by the white of the walls and the tablecloths... Ambience is elegant and relaxed and there are private VIP rooms which means it can work well for different occasions and moods.

The food is sensational, with an innovative menu that is predominantly Cantonese but also features specialties from different regions of China, as well as some unique creations of the chef... As expected, the kitchen uses the finest ingredients and the results are heavenly.

Recommended dishes include Barbecued goose liver and pork skewers, Whole free range chicken braised in a clay pot with Hua Diao wine, Pan-fried pigeon meat with mandarin zest and wild mushrooms, Wok-fried sea garoupa fillet with shrimp roe and green asparagus, Pan-fried French duck liver with Australian spinach and abalone sauce and Baked sea whelk stuffed with fresh mushrooms and minced pork.

To compliment the lovely meal, there is a decent choice of wines.

Prices are quite on the high side but the dining experience is unsurpassed.
