Housed at the centrally located Pan Pacific Orchard, House of Peranakan Cuisine serves a wide choice of authentic, delicious Peranakan fare in a very nice environment and at a relatively moderate price.
Nice and elegant décor, good service (the staff are always ready to lend an advice) and a comprehensive choice of popular delicacies to choose from... Fish maw soup, Ayam buah keluak, Chap Chye (stir fried mix vegetables), Curry fish head, Spicy Sambal belacan and what have you... everything is really fresh and nice, and the portions are quite generous (and are accompanied by a steady flow of rice...)
Prices are quite reasonable for a hotel-restaurant: around SG$ 30 - 40 for dinner
Open daily for lunch and dinner
