The hostel usually gets good reviews, both for its great location on Hong Kong Island, just a heartbeat from the MTR station, as well for its friendly staff and properly maintained premises.
As the case is in many hostels and guesthouses across Hong Kong, rooms can be somewhat claustrophobic and there might be some issues with cleanliness (Although the Yes Inn is far cleaner than many other establishments across the metropolis). Another minor problem comes from the fact that the hostel is scattered across more than one building, so you might find yourself carrying your luggage across the street, after visiting the reception desk… Not such a big issue really,..
Rates are very reasonable and you do get a good bang for your buck: A double ensuite room goes for something like HK$ 300 – 450 per room per night (Depends on season), while a dormitory bed goes for as little as HK$ 100 per bed per night (although it can get to as high as HK$ 200 during high season).
