Hong Kong
Where East meets West

Bishop Lei International House

The Bishop Lei, one of Hong Kong's best mid-range hotels is superbly located in the posh Mid Levels and provides its guests 4-star standards at 3-star rates.

The hotel is owned and operated by the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong, which might make some people raise an eyebrow with surprise, but at the end of the day, it is just a normal hotel, and a jolly good one too, with great facilities like an outdoor pool, gym, and a lovely terrace café, where you can seat 'alfresco' and enjoy the view over Victoria Harbour…

The rooms are small, but comfortable and well equipped with most of the amenities you expect to find in a 4-star hotel… From air-condition and IDD phone to TV with house channels, Mini-fridge and free Wi-Fi connection.

In terms of location, the Bishop Lei is just a 2 – 3 minutes walk from the internationally famous escalators, which means walking to the SoHo, Lan Kwai Fong and Central is a piece of cake.

Other attractions like Hong Kong Zoological And Botanical Gardens, Hong Kong Park and the Peak Tram Lower Terminus are also just a short walk away and if that is not enough, the hotel provides complimentary shuttle bus service to and from Central, Admiralty  and Wanchai  (Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre).

Room rates start from around HK$ 700 for a standard double ensuite room /

HK$ 1,000 for the 'Harbour View Twin', and can go to as high as HK$ 1,500 (and beyond) during peak seasons, and although these rates are sometimes above the range of what can be described as "budget hotel", what you get justifies the extra expense.
