Admiralty and Wan Chai lie east of Central and are characterized by modern office buildings, hotels and shopping malls. Wan Chai is one of the busiest commercial areas in Hong Kong with many small and medium sized companies, various shopping centres and numerous bars, discos, cafés and dining venues... Especially along Lockhart Road.
♦ Pacific Place is one of Hong Kong's most popular shopping malls. It is favourite among locals and visitors alike and considered as one of the city's most prestigous malls, with top designer brands like Dior, Agnes b, Vivienne Tam, Max & Co, Momento, Celine, Chanel, Bally I.T, La Perla, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo and Zara... The watch & jewelry corridor on the 3rd floor is worth visiting; Here you will fined the likes of Piaget and Cartier, not to mention Richard Mille where every watch is worth a fortune...

Pacific Place also houses some excellent restaurants, cafés and food outlets. The mall is open daily from 10 am to 8 pm and is easily accessed from MTR-Admiralty (Exit F).
♦ Adjacent to Pacific Place are another two popular malls: United Center and Queensway Plaza.
♦ Admiralty Center is located next to MTR-Admiralty's exit A and is worth visiting for one particular shop : Johnny's photo & Video Supplies. The shop is located on the malls' first flour (shop 65) and has a good reputation for its good prices and customer's service.
♦ Wan Chai Computer Center on 130 Hennessy Road is one of the best places in Hong Kong to buy computer products; software, hardware, accessories and the like... From MTR-Wan Chai , take exit A-4
♦ Fashion surpluses (mostly clothes) can be found at a good price in some streets around Wan Chai; From MTR-Wan Chai take exit A-3, cross Johnston Road and turn right, then turn left to Spring Garden Lane where you can find plenty of boutiques and stalls that sell export surpluses. You can also continue walking along Johnston Road up to the corner of Luard Road. Some good shops are located around that area too.
♦ Chinese style Rattan and Bamboo furniture shops are scattered along Queen's Road East. From MTR-Wan Chai : take exit A-3, cross Johnston Road and continue strait via Tai Yuen Street (where you can find plenty of cheap toys) until you reach the corner of Queen's Road East, at the end of the street.
