Hong Kong's most romantic places to dine

Visiting Hong Kong ?
Guided day tours are a very nice way to explore this unique and beautiful metropolis...

The Boathouse occupies an unmissable blue building on Stanley's waterfront promenade, and provides some splendid sunsets from its balconies. The food they serve is international, with some emphasis on the Mediterranean.

Aqua Spirit is perched on the 30th floor of a Tsim sha Tsui tower, and although it is not a restaurant as such, it is one of the best places on the Kowloon side of Victoria Harbour for a romantic sundowner or an after dinner drink... The view of the harbour and the skyscrapers on Hong Kong Island is simply gorgeous.

The Bay is nestled within picturesque Mo Tat Wan Bay, on Lamma Island, and the views from here are simply out of this world... including (or "especially") the sunsets.

The food they serve is Mediterranean, with strong focus on seafood, and the ambience is truly lovely.

The Terrace Restaurant - Hong Kong Marina is off the beaten tourist track, but if you happen to be around Sai Kung and have the time, it's certainly worth the effort of getting here. Splendid mountain-and-bay views, nice 'alfresco' terrace, lovely ambience and great food... Who can ask for more ?

One - thirty one is located in one of Hong Kong's remotest corners, on the shores of picturesque Three Fathoms Cove.  Occupying the ground floor of a converted village house, this charming boutique restaurant serves the best of French countryside cuisine, in a very pleasant and romantic ambience, and although the average tourist might find it too far from everything, it's a place worth knowing about...

Restaurant Petrus on the 56th floor of swanky Island Shangri-la Hotel, is one of the city's most sought after restaurants. Other than the "crème de la crème" of the classic French cuisine, you can enjoy absolutely stunning Victoria Harbour views, aristocratic atmosphere, and one of the best wine collections around this part of the world.

The Hong Kong Card allows you to splurge in the city's best restaurants without having to dig too deep in your pockets...

Gaia is located in Grand Millennium Plaza, in Central, and although it doesn't offer any splendid harbour views, or peach sunsets, it has a lovely outdoor piazza and a very nice ambiance, which make it a pretty sound choice for those of you who look for a romantic dine-out in this part of town...

The Verandah Restaurant - Repulse Bay Hotel is one of Hong Kong's classiest restaurants and a great dining experience for those who want to revive the charm and elegance of bygone days... Fabulous seaside view, Classic European cuisine, romantic ambience and splendid service make it a real favorite.

COCOCABANA is nestled along Deep Water Bay, on the southern coast of Hong Kong Island, and serves different Mediterranean and European cuisines in a lovely resort style.

G Bar is a chic New York style lounge-bar in IFC Mall, in Central, with some of the best views of Victoria Harbour. Their outdoor terrace is particularly recommended for romantic couples, so long as heavy rain or unbearable heat don't spoil the magic moments...
