Lantau Link Visitors Centre, Tsing Ma Bridge

Lantau Link Visitors Centre

One of the world's longest span suspension bridges

Nestled at the Northwestern corner of tiny Tsing Yi Island, Lantau Link Visitors Centre & Viewing Platform provides a unique architectural experience to its visitors and could have easily become one of Hong Kong's most prominent attractions, if only getting to it was easier...

Lantau Link, one of Hong Kong's most ambitious construction projects, was completed in the late 1990s and connects the new airport with the city's urban areas.  One of the project's main features is mighty Tsing Ma Bridge, one of the world's longest span suspension bridges, which can be seen in its full glory from the centre's Viewing Platform.  The Visitors Centre itself is like a small museum, where you can learn interesting stuff about this enormous project and watch a documentary about the building of the bridge.

The centre is open daily (except Wednesdays and Christmas, New Year's Day and Chinse New Year) from 10am to 5pm (to 6;30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays).

The Viewing Platform (which is the main draw) is open throughout the year, 7am to 10:30pm (and until 1:30 am on weekends and holidays)

Entrance is free.

Getting there: One option is to take green-minibus No. 308M from Tsing Yi MTR Station (exit A-1 will take you to the minibus stand), or catch a taxi from the same station (Tsing Yi).
