The Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, just a minute walk from the aviary, occupies the historic building of Cassels Block (Part of Victoria Barracks, which once covered most of this area), and provides well-equipped studio space for trained artists in the fields of sculpture, printmaking and ceramics...
The centre organizes art exhibitions every now and again and those of you who have interest in visual arts are more than welcome to walk in and visit the place.
The Visual Arts Centre is open daily (except Tuesdays) 10am - 9pm and entrance is free.
