Hong Kong Cultural Centre

The architecturally shocking monolith right next to Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower is, perhaps, one of the most hideous buildings along Victoria Harbour, but as the saying goes "Do not judge a book by its cover"... and, in this case, the book is much better than its cover would suggest.

Hong Kong Cultural Centre is an international class multipurpose performance facility, featuring a remarkable concert hall with more than 2,000 seats, as well as a Grand Theatre and a Studio Theatre.  It hosts numerous performances and cultural events from around the world and it is really recommended to visit its website and find out if there is anything exciting happening at the time of your visit.

You can also visit the place during daytime and see their imposing 8,000-pipe pipe organ, which was built by "Rieger" (A famous Austrian organ-builder firm) and is the largest of its kind in Asia.  The Cultural Centre is open daily, 9 am - 11 pm

For more information about the centre and its programme-calendar, visit their websiteor give them a call on: 2734 9009 (booking / reservation).
